1 cup sugar

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

2 eggs, room temp

3-4 very ripe bananas

1 tablespoon vanilla

1 tablespoon half and half (or any milk you prefer)

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

2 cups all purpose flour

1 bag dark chocolate chips

First, preheat your oven to 325°F.

In a mixing bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar until the mixture is fluffy. Then, add the eggs one at a time, making sure to scrape the sides of the bowl after each addition.

Next, add the peeled bananas in small pieces while the mixer is running, and mix until well combined but not completely smooth. Then, stir in the vanilla extract and half and half.

In another bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients: baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and flour.

Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until everything is combined, but be careful not to over mix.

Take the bowl off the mixer, and use a spatula to scrape the batter off the mixing attachment. Then, fold in the entire bag of your favorite dark chocolate chips.

Divide the batter evenly between two buttered loaf pans and bake for 45 minutes to an hour, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Let the bread cool in the pans for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a cooling rack.
